From ex to the next............

Are you a serial dater or relationship person? Do you need a man in order to feel complete? If so this blog post is for you. After a relationship ends how much time do you actually take to exhale before moving on? There is definetly time needed to date yourself.  You have to reflect on what went wrong more important reflect on who you are.  Sometimes when we get so used to caring for our partners we lose ourselves in the process.  We carry baggage from unresolved issues without ever really resolving things. We compare our old partners to the new people we may come across.  There is no way to actively have a relationship with someone until you know what it is like to have a relationship with yourself.  Make yourself available to you. What that means is take time out for you without anything to cloud your emotional being and sex is included.  Sex with an ex is never really a good thing because you arent really moving on are you?  How can you move on or even know if you may want to try again with this person if your vision is being clouded by sex.  Being single is not the end of the world look at it as a hibernation period with yourself.  Another secret a man is not going to complete you.  As women we need to learn to be complete and happy within ourselves and only when this happens will you be able to share your light and love with a partner.  Before you move on to the next take time out for you!

The new episode of Season Two of the Ladies of Madison Avenue was a hit! We really got in depth with our special guest discussing same sex cheating. We heard from a lesbian woman and her take on female relationships with heterosexual women.  We discussed the fact that the women she has been with were women that had men or were curious or bisexual.  The women talked about the fact that if you have one or two encounters it doesn't make you bi-sexual. We explored the fact that sex with anyone is based on attraction and in my opinion I think if you have an attraction to a woman and want to take it to the next phase of sleeping with her then you are bi-sexual. 

People don't like labels and don't want to be put in specific titles when it comes to this.  We talked about men being selfish and not taking care of their woman's needs on all levels not just sex.  In some instances this pushes women to explore their sexuality with the same sex.  But again I believe a woman's choice has nothing to do with her partner, its her choice based on what's in her heart and who she is attracted to.

Being single is trying enough but when you are part of a percentage in the African American community the numbers can be disparaging! 70 % of Black women are single. On of my rationales is that there are first more women than men on the planet. The numbers are alarming because as Black women we tend to date within our race. While Black men are in demand by all races of women. We interviewed some men on our panel and they commence to saying it's our fault. They say we are too strong and we look down on our Black men when we reach a certain status. That cannot be further from the truth. One Black man told me he only dates latino women because he doesn't have to deal with our so called attitudes. Needless to say he ended up breaking up with this Spanish woman because of jealous insecurities. When will Black men realize women are women no matter what race and we all have a common goal! Turning up the heat in the bedroom

A popular question that our female audience has been asking us has been, if your mate asked you if you and him could participate in three some what would you say? Most ladies said they would have no part in it because of insecurity and not wanting to see their man or husband with another woman.  A lot of men have this fantasy.  If it prevented them from cheating what would you say?  Upon our many interviews with men a lot of them complain that what the woman did at the start of the relationship sexually she usually doesn't do it two or three or even ten years into the relationship.  They complain even when going to bed they stop wearing lingerie and really don't care how they look when going to bed. Ladies have to remember men are visual and love to look at beauty in whatever form that maybe in.  If your man asks for a three some that may mean he is getting bored.  So you better step it up in the bedroom and turn up the heat! If you are adventurous and secure with yourself you may want to go for it to make him happy.  Don't immediately discard him or curse him out for asking.  It just may mean you have to get your skills up!
